Buckeye
This gorgeous spot provides beautiful sunlight (not pictured) with an abundance of mountains and saguaros, as well as the Very-Arizona view shown, away from the sun (nearest to dark).
The area can be full of walkers, hikers, families, dogs and bicyclists depending on the season and day of the week. Most of the area to stand is dirt-path trails.
This area may not be the best for larger groups, but if you love it, there are areas we can use! There are a lot of spaces to use with different scenery.
Bathrooms available (bring TP and hand sanitizer)
Scottsdale
This location has been good to clients and me over the years! Despite the smaller cacti around, kids have been able to enjoy the space as much as the adults.
Great for large groups and small families, alike. We can grab the sunset until the very last drop with the wide and far horizon. Beautiful whether it's cloudy or sunny. Walkers, hikers, and bicyclists are always friendly!
There is a large mountain not in view, to the right. Most clients from out of state love this spot and stay later to do some casual exploring.
Water & Bathrooms are available.
Buckeye (Verrado)
This amazing space is great for any session! Dog friendly for fur-parents. There are smaller bushes, lots of saguaros up-close, and a beautiful overlap of mountains.
The area has walkers, hikers and bicyclists, but stays relatively quiet most days. There are endless areas to choose from, but the spot shown here is by far my favorite, and my clients fall in love with it at first sight!
**Please be prepared for the walk if you have kids or a maternity session with me!**
No water or bathrooms. The location does include a 1/4 mile walk in sand and rocks.
Surprise/Buckeye
This amazing space is great for any session! Dog friendly for fur-parents. There are smaller bushes, distant saguaros and mountain views, and beautiful greenery depending on the season. I love it for the shade and the ability to get a lot of variety.

Beautiful trail(s) with large rocks/boulders, shade and some greenery depending on the season. Leads to a hiking area close to mountains and saguaros.

Waddell
Enjoy the awesome cacti variations and beautiful mountains behind you, here. It is beautiful! There is plenty of open space for groups of various sizes.
Despite it's beauty, this area can become crowded, quickly, with other families and portrait-session-goers. Sessions are 30-45 minutes earlier than other sessions due to the height of the mountain.
No water or bathrooms. Access to these is about a 10-15 minute drive.
Morristown
One epic place to explore, this lake gives a very romantic feel to your portraits. 9 times out of 10, you can expect to be IN the water.
I recommend this location mainly for maternity and small families. The area can overcrowd almost any day! This spot is also great for those who want to go all out with a desert view for one set of images, and lake romance for another.
This one takes a lot of planning, so flexibility will be important - if you are booking less than 2 weeks from your session date, this may not be an option!
Bathrooms and water accessible within the park, but distance depends on our location.
